Corsa L99 Install Problem

I just installed the Corsa 14952 for the L99 engine, and did everything as instructed and it sounds great at idle. But when I shift the car into drive or reverse there is a sound coming from the center of the car of metal hitting metal. I assume its the Tunnel Brace and the XO pipe hitting, but wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue and what is the best way to the correct it. Thanks any input would be appreciated.

It is a little difficult to get the resonators up high enough. Especially just using jack stands. Mine dropped a little after a few miles and rubbed a little. I took it to a local muffler shop and on the rack they were able to get it in the right position. Took them 5 min. and they didn't charge me anything.

I was assuming that you didn't forget the spacers to drop the cross brace and give you a little more clearance?

I got the spacers in place, I figured it had to do something with the clearance thanks

I added a couple washers to mine, no more rattle.

Or you can change tunnel braces if you want.

I think I'll try the washers first and see how that works, I don't want to buy a new tunnel brace for 200 dollars the reason I installed it myself was to save the money on the install. Thanks for the input guys.

So, is it fixed? If so, what fixed it? The washers?

So after taking it out for a long drive the banging sound came back. I called up Corsa Tech Support today, and told them about the problem. They told me to loosen the bolts from the beginning of the catback and before the tunnel brace, than stick a 2 inch thick piece of wood under the xo pipe between the pipe and the tunnel brace. Than he said to pull the exhaust outwards a little more about a 1/8 of a inch it came out. Next I used a lift to push the xo pipe up a little more and hold it in place. Than I tightened everything back, and it was good to go.

Corsa said this is a very common problem, I'm a little surprised they haven't suggested this in the directions. But I just wanted to share the info for people doing their own installs in the future. This system rocks!!!! And highly recommend it, I can't wait to do LT's.
