Header question

can somebody explain the difference between shorty and long tube headers, pros/cons. Im trying to map out my future upgrades.

Shorty headers bolt right upto the stock exhaust and will pass emmisions testing little to no power gains
Long tube headers with or without cats will not pass strict emmisions testing but the power gains with a tune way up

long tubes all the way - the biggest hp gainer for the money!

Where did you get your headers and how much did they cost. Also do you have cats? I have a corsa catback as well, hows the sound? Sorry so many questions

I'd stay stock manifolds if you were needing to keep stock cats. The shorties are proven to not help much at all. :( :(

If you decide long tubes checkout the TSP Long tubes & Exhaust system. For the $$$ it's impossible to beat & comes complete from header all the way to tip!
