I agree,it should be a premium color on all models. Jetstrem blue just looks like a Camaro color IMO. GM replace the Aqua blue with Jetstream and let all the models have the option. If we dont get it this year, I will have to wait for the 2011 colors, like you said "dream car,dream color".

A blue is being offered in Mid November. There has been no information as to WHICH blue will be offered. My guess would be Imperial, but I sure hope it is Jetstream. I will be waiting until mid summer in hopes of a Bright Blue to order if nothing changes.

I just saw a Jetstream Blue Corvette that was part of the local Corvette Club's display about a week ago at a local car show. The cool thing is that it was parked right next to a Torch Red Vette, and those two colors absolutely complemented each other, even though it was an overcast afternoon. That Jetstream Blue is gorgeous, and would look unbelievable on these new Camaros! Although I'm pretty well set on Black, if Jetstream was offered, I'll end up losing more sleep than I already have over this car deciding which to go with! One other thing, it rained briefly that afternoon while I was assessing it, and I've got to tell you even in the rain it looked slick!!! GREAT COLOR

I didn't have time to read thru this entire thread...but yes, the decision was made to offer both blues -- (we DO listen!) however, the edit tables will not be updated until Mid month - -so please wait until after Thanksgiving to change your orders. (same goes for polished wheels on the RS model)

I read the thread, I was one of the first people on this thread. 2 blues will be offered, Imperial which is too dark for my tastes, and Aqua Blue Metallic, which just flat out sucks. Neither of the blues being offered are Jetstream, that I what I am disgusted about. When I first saw this car, I couldn't wait to buy it, and I knew I wanted bright blue or Hugger orange. I wait a few months, soo excited, and then the colors come out. Instead of Hugger Orange, which was my first choice, we are offered Inferno Orange, which in case you haven't seen it looks very VERY red, not orange at all. Then I see the blues, Pretty much navy blue/black, and Aqua Blue Metallic, which if you haven't seen it is the most awful blue GM has ever created. It looks like a mix between a medium blue, purple, and teal. I wanted a nice bright clean blue, aka JETSTREAM, which GM has, they aren't formulating new colors or anything, they are just too cheap to offer it. I've waited a long time for this car, and worked extremely hard to be able to afford it, It will be my 1st new car ever, and I want it to be perfect. If you look at several of the threads, almost nobody likes Aqua Blue, look at the voting results here, yet GM won't change it. I'm just really disappointed. The car is a 10, the color choices are a 4, if you count inferno orange, they are offering 3 reds...3 reds! come on.

^I'm sorry you feel that way. I respect your opinion and frustration. And I don't really have an answer for you and obviously neither does GM. I just think is a bit premature to predict disaster before we truly know the outcome.

Thank you for understanding where I'm coming from. I don't mean to bitch about everything, but GM was smart enough to listen to what we wanted from a Camaro, and they delivered. They listened to the customer and delivered. My problem is why won't GM listen to us on the colors!?! They are kind of setting themselves up for a failure. Almost 90% want a different blue, and GM won't listen! That means 9 out of 10 customers will either buy a different color, or may not buy one at all. How much more obvious does this have to be for GM. If they offered Jetstream, they would sell 90% more Blue Camaros.

Unfortunately this goes back to GM's practices that got them into their current mess. Instead of offering what their customers want, They try to decide what we want for us, and end up losing sales and customers in the process. It's extremely frustrating! I live and die by GM. I will never own a non GM vehicle, so why dosen't GM listen to their loyal customers in instances like this? Reward us for our loyalty and show us that you appreciate us. We aren't your "I don't care about how the car performs or what it looks like" customer that will jump from brand to brand because a car is only basic transportaion. We are GM's foundation, the people who have stood behind them through thick and thin. I love the Camaro, I have 2 and will soon have a 3rd when I get my 2010. I never want to see this car killed off again, and the only way to ensure its survival is to make it the best vehicle that GM can, and that includes all areas of the car, including colors. If customers are willing to help GM to make this car a success, by using our personal time to point out shortcomings, or something that GM needs to pay attention to, GM should be more than willing to listen, and to a certain extent, I know they do.

Like I said, I understand your frustration. I don't necessarily agree with your conclusions as to why GM is doing what they are doing. I don't think any of us will ever know the why unless we are sitting in the room when these decisions are made.

For now I guess we'll just wait and see.

about my post up there^^^. i was just saying we lost on having jetstream blue offered. i am more than happy that you SS guys got your blues back haha. i was just saying we per se "lost" on changing the color choices. does that make sense?(i kinda rambled)
