Is the LS3 Fuel Pump Audible?

I've had a clicking sound, distinct with each click about .5 seconds apart, for some time. It kind of sounds like a stuck lifter, but not as loud. You can hear it best at idle by putting your head down by either front wheel with the hood closed. I know the DI V6's have a noticeable click because of the injectors/pump, but what about the LS3?

I had it at the dealer to install my splash guards the other day, but when I asked the tech if he heard anything unusual, it was in the garage with a lot of other noise so I couldn't single the sound out. He said from what he could tell he didn't hear anything unusual and that it was likely the injectors.

L99 and LS3 fuel pumps are in the fuel tank in the rear of the car. What you are hearing could be injector tick, A/C cycling, rocker tick, or a mild exhaust leak among other things. Most of these things are relatively normal among the LSX family so long as you don't notice any other symptoms. Your probably just being paranoid.

Another common source of clicking is the ABS system. It's even in the manual that this happens from time to time.
