ARH and drone question

I want to buy the american racing system w/x-pipe and keep my SLP power flo axle back. I have been warned about DRONE anybody have this issue with same or similar setup. I was reading another thread about AFM and they say if you turn the AFM off that it will eliminate the DRONE.
My car is an A6 w/maggie.

I have the ARH 2" LTs, HF cats, x-pipe and stock mufflers. no drone at all. It is actually very quiet at idle and cruising speeds, but over 3000 rpms it sounds like a beast.

I have the exact exhaust you are asking about and I LOVE the sound. I do get a slight drone for a split second, but it is gone as soon as you realize it is there. I am also running a cam so my car will behave slightly different than the A6 Maggie will.

I am keep that exhaust on the car because I am confident in its performance and love the sound. I cannot wait to hear it with our new 427 going in!!

I have ARH with cats and x pipe into stock mufflers on an L99. AFM tuned out and absolutely no drone. But when we finished the header install and drove the car to LMR to get the tune the AFM was VERY annoying. I can't imagine anyone living with it.

Have you confirmed you still have AFM with the maggie? I thought the valley cover that came with the maggie meant AFM was no longer possible?

I don't know if it is enabled or not. Sometimes it feels like it is when I am driving on the highway. Can I check with my SCT tuner and turn off easily if it is still on?
