Could not agree more. Considered the Mustang GT, but everytime I walked around to the backside, I just couldnt take it. Those rear taillights are horrible. Love the front, hate the back. Bought a Camaro. Love all of it!

That's fantastic. So they didn't actually make any changes to the V-6 other than just say it now has 312 HP yet they are calling it a HP increase over last year. What? They could have at least done what other companies do and make up something about tweaking the intake manifold or something.
I hate when car companies do this. The HP rating varies from motor to motor anyway, so OBVIOUSLY some cars may have 312 and others may have 306.
I'm digging the SG SS though. This made my next purchase much more difficult...

The 304 horsepower in the 2010 Camaro was actually a conservative rating on our end,” said Tom Sutter, GM V-6 chief engineer. “But we knew already that this award-winning engine produced at least the amount of power we stated, but now we’ve gone the extra step in certifying the engine for this application and have verified an additional 8 horsepower.”
..now I have to change my stickers again, and what about all those already published literature? Who's in charge of marketing again?

..I'll just find some '327' logos some place. That should cover it..

Honestly, I expected more. Maybe, as other have said, this is only the first volley of information and more is to come.

It is a brilliant marketing ploy.

You may or may not be a troll but I find it amusing that so many people who find this car UGLY spend time on this forum. I have yet to spend time on a Mustang or Challenger forum to quote "stay up to speed" because I have no need. There are numerous ways to "stay up to speed" rather than trolling on a forum based on a car which you find ugly.

Looks like this mod was easier than I thought!
...and I use 93oct all the time ...so if they based the 2011 off 91 (assuming this theory coming together has any teeth to it) then I may have 313hp! haha, I just find the whole thing comical

So no actual change to the v6? It sounds like they just certified it and the certification measured it higher. Does that mean 2010 window stickers will be updated?

But still. And not only that, Chevy is REALLY bad about this.

Millennium yellow, Le Mans blue, Synergy green....all 'special' colors that became not so special the next year

There is a GOD and he does love me!!! Hell yes! Umm I mean Heaven Yes! So now I wonder what color it will be or you will have the ability to change it (wishful thinking)
