If no other changes happen, and that is a if because I don't know.

I have something to say to the Camaro fans coming from a Ford fan and owner of a 2000 GT. When I was in my early driving years it was 2000. This was when the 4th gens were out. And I certainly remember the LT1 cars. As a ford fan their was years I prayed the mustang could be within a tenth or two of the LT1s or LS1s. I didn't even hope for out performing the camaro just be close you know.

It was disappointing year after year holding out hope. But one thing never changed. I loved my mustangs. No camaro no matter how fast or how well it handled or how well it looked changed that. It was never and should not ever be something to lose sleep over. Some of you seem like you think it is a god given right to beat the stangs year in and year out. Can't you let us have at least 1 year.

Even with my 2000 GT knowing that V6 5th gens and V6 Stangs could realistically outrun me it still doesn't get me down. I still love my 2000 GT and always will.

the ppl at ford are kicking themselves in the ass even harder because the 2011 Camaro will also be a COMPLETE SUCCESS like the 2010 Camaro was even with its small changes! but i also have to admit i expected more i keep saying to myself GM dont MEET the competition BEAT the competition come on GM!!!!

That is the right attitude to have!

I feel the same way about 5th gen Honda Preludes. It's not the fastest car, but there will always be a spot in my heart for it.

Well I'll give one non-ABM vote for ABM...Synergy Green while maybe it is catchy for some it is down right ugly to many IMO...reminds me of the 7UP Mustang LE....which truth be told was a flop. ABM is beautiful in comparison...

I'm not an ABM hater, I almost bought one & helped another forum member get a great deal on a ABM 2ss/rs ls3 last week (the car I almost bought).

However, I know all the ABM owners who are forum members voted for ABM in that poll. Having seen both in person they are both awesome.

It's unfair to throw GM under the bus for disco'ing a color that sold 3600 units in the 1st 6 mos of sales (and 6mos prior of ordering).

I kno that this is like page 26 or something of this thread... but why has no one mentioned that the the 2010 Camaro WAS ALREADY certified by SAE at 304HP/273lbs...last year.

GM had to do something to get this up another 8hp/10lbs...

This certification was for 2010



it's easily looked up via Google.

Actually that certification was for the 3.6 V6 motor in the Cadillac CTS. They carried that certification over to the Camaro when they put the motor in the Camaro to save on re-certifying the motor. And in the camaro that V6 gets a better flowing air box and exhaust. In 2011 they finally certified the 3.6 in the Camaro application.

Plz read my last post (#639). I'm not trying to get in a debate w/u.

I just think that poll is skewed (MO) and it's wrong to throw GM under the bus for the decision not to bring back ABM. The sales number speak for themselves, and the fact that Synergy is coming in as a "Limited" color means it will be replaced by another color (most likely a blue) at the end of its run in the 2011 MY.
