Okay Guys Im Going To Get Roasted For This But...

I'm thinking about selling my 10 camaro ls for a g8 gt. why you ask because of the space. I just realized that today when i keep bumping my head coming in and out of the camaro and the size of it. I just need something bigger with the similar performance but everytime i go to my car in the morning and hear that v6 take off I fall right back in love again . damn it my mind says I need something practical and should sell my camaro while it has the value but my hear tells me different. Anyway at the end of the day im more than likely going to keep my camaro ............ what should I do

I almost broke down and bought a G8 while waiting for the Camaro to release, I will have one, one day....

Good luck with your decision, I sure am glad I waited...

I was thinking about buying Mike Haddad's G8.

I would rather hit my head every now and then than give up my Camaro, but that's just me .

Like someone said, if you do give it up get a G8 GXP

2010 LS for a G8 gt? Why did you get the LS if you have the money for a G8 GT? If it were any other trim level I'd say keep the Maro but given this, go for the G8.

Yeah, the G8 is a very, VERY nice car. I would strongly think about it if you can afford it

Even if it resulted in brain damage, I wouldn't get rid of my Camaro. I'm 6'2" and have never hit my head getting in and out of my car. Maybe you should buy a helmet.

I think you may have hit your head one time too many. Rent or borrow a smaller car for a week or two and then the Camaro will feel big to you.

Try entering/exiting the car quicker. Yes, you will hit your head harder but you will soon learn to lean forward a bit more.

I think the G8 will be quite the collector car in the years to come.

A buddy of mine asked me for advice on which car to get for a sedan i pointed him in the direction of the G8 or the caddy cts. He ended up buying the CTS for the same amount of money its a nicer car imo. Just my 2 cents.

The G8 is the solid performance sedan choice. If it was an SS that you have I'd say don't get rid of it for a G8 but since it's the V6, going to the G8 GT would be a performance upgrade. Ideally the GXP is the car you'd want to get but new they cost $10k more than the GT. Just remember that the G8 isn't going to be a Camaro, though the G8 will still be an excellent performance car.

I didn't know what a g8 looked like until I pulled up some pictures.

Your better off with a Camaro. Looks better.

g8 looks like a toyota corolla on steroids.

G8 is nice. CTS is a great car also, but dude if your thinking of dumping the camaro because you keep hitting your head. STOP HITTING YOUR HEAD!!!! Clearly the damage is affecting your judgement. lol But seriously I'm 6'3" and maybe I'm just used to watching out for things that may do harm to my noggin but just duck down further. You're probably just so excited to get into it you dive on in. Take it easy and you'll be fine.

With the shut-down of Pontiac, it may be hard to find one right now, but if you think you should do it then you should. G8s are great performance sedans.

That said, there are rumors of the VF Commodore coming to the states as a Chevy...

We have both cars at our house my wife drives the G8 GT. It is a very nice car with plenty of power, not as much as my Camaro but it's no slouch. It does have more room for sure. The ride is outstanding as well. I guess I have the best of both worlds. When we need the room of the sedan we have it.
