EDITED WITH OFFICIAL STRIPE PACKAGE IMAGES:

Did anyone at Indy get a better understanding of what the factory stripe packages will actually look like?

We've seen so many variations, that I just don't know which ones are closest to the actual ones we'll be able to order.

Are we getting:

Dual stripes with a pinstripe outline
Dual stripes without a pinstripe outline
Stripes that extend over the mailslot
Stripes that only go on the hood
Stripes that only go on the raised section of the hood
Single stripe
Dual stripes
Stripes that have a matching set on the trunk

the rally are the dual hood stripes and the hockey/hood stripes come together but obviously you could install only one part of it

Did it say what colors they come in? It sayd 3 for the one and 5 for the other.

they may have said at the show but i cannot recall all of them

White and Cyber Grey from the factory

black, orange, red and ...... and ........ from the dealer.

it looks like you could and they look sick, if i was going to get black or white i would get orange stripes with orange interior but im doing orange so black stripes for me maybe white but most likely black to match interior

So, here's a question for everyone...

If I order white rally stripes (factory installed) and the blade spoiler (dealer installed accessory), does the blade spoiler come with the correct matching stripes? I hope so.

you may have to have a dealer installed stripe. they are all going to be vinyl anyways....

Still wish the factory stripes were painted but the vinyl is being used to keep the costs down. I'd rather have vinyl stripes and a car I can afford than painted stripes on a car I can't.

exactly its not like any companies are painting stripes on thier cars now anyways...

That Outside stripe on the rally stripe looks kinda thick in the photo..I hope its the same size as the one in the bumblebee shots. Crossing fingers

we will have to wait and see, its hard to make long pieces of vinyl look good if they get too thin because they stretch. that is one consideraton of the thickness on the outside stripe.

My thoughts exactly...this may change my mind if they are that big..I don't think they would look good...but I will wait and see...Headpunter...did you see the black stripes on the grey car in the Welburn vid...they looked ok...or do you think they were painted on?

That's true for high production volume cars. You can still get them on the Viper but it's a $3000 option.

The photos from the presentation are just photoshop renderings and don't mean the production stripes will look exactly like that. The pinstripe around the stripes can be much smaller (they are much smaller on my car and came from the factory that way). Also, even though the renderings show the stripes going past the hood I'm guessing they will stop on the hood, we know they have actually made those stripes (we saw them in the CNBC video) plus if the stripes were to go past the hood they would have to offer different stripes for the v6 and v8 cars unless they made you cut the slits for the ss bumper yourself which I can't see happening.
