I put my deposit in last Monday. I'm counting on the "fact" that orders won't be actually sent in to the factory until the end of the year. That gives me plenty of time to research everything and possibly get more and better info as this deadline approaches.

My dealership still says they won't take orders until they see the pricing. Which is kind of fustrating when I see so many people on here putting their names down already.

I will be ordering ASAP. I plan on calling a few of the dealers out here (the ones that are left anyway) to see who has a list and how long. Also to see who is going to give it to me for MSRP or less.

I really want this combo as well but I need to see an HHR in Aqua Blue in person to make my final decision. If it has any hint of green I will probably go black/white stripes.

Ok after checking the options list Im going to be a little more specific not much cause I have problems deciding you should see me try and pick out a movie!

3. Dont know on tranny yet leaning torwards auto
4. 2SS
5. Probably rally stripes but man the hockey stick is growin on me!
6. Either Imperial w white or cyber gray w black

I think after the dust settles we should try and have a Camaro5 rally and CELEBRATE!

It's sad to say but I don't think I'll have enough for a down payment to order just yet. I'm gonna wait till I can put down at least $25,000 for my Down Payment. I should have it around next June :-(

bro you only need to put a deposit to place your order. you don't need to make your entire down payment and finance the whole car until it gets to your dealership

if you'd be ready around June, i'd just order now

im going in to my dealer on the 13th and ordering a black rs/ss2 manual hardtop. polished wheels instead of the midnight silver. all the goodies.

id wait for a z28 but i can make a faster one by adding my own blower.

I went to my dealer yesterday to ask if they are getting an idl on it soon they said no, i asked if they had any details they said no, they said that only about 2 cars would make some dealers and that there are no factory ordes, just a 5k deposit to reserve yours. The most disapointing day of my life, i have to ask Scott if this is true, i want to be able to sold order, thats why i was soo excited for this month. They said that everything is different because we ll have the market equivilant to L.A alone, it made sense,

Well, I'm actually going to wait till spring of '09 to make my final decision on ordering.

1st... I want to at least see one in person... 2nd... I want to know what it will cost me to do so.

Was thinking of a heavily optioned LT2 / RS in Aqua Blue w/ Single White Stripe on hood and Hockey stripes on side, but am now thinking or going the SS2 / RS in Imperial Blue w/ same striping package as above, but in Silver instead. If silver not available, I have a friend locally that would be able to do so for probably under $500 Canadian.

Still waiting for HUD and Rear Assist Parking !

Yeah I really hope they let us do this, I want a 2LT but my limit is 29k (before ttl and stuff). Hopefully it will be well under that number, but from what I have been reading on the forums it is probably going to be close...

Im gonna go to my local dealers first. Bentley chevrolet and Cadillac, we bought our truck from them, so im confident they will work with me.

If they are dumb, i will go to Huntsville, then Nashville. If all else fails i will be talking to Camaro Scotty.
