Boston Accoustics Upgrade - Free to ALL

Go to your dealer and refer to Service Bulletin 09-08-44-021A. If the customer complains of distortion in the front door speakers, Chevy provides, at no cost, an upgraded amplifier and new front door spearkers. Not the best, but made a huge difference in mine

Do they check it? I hear it a little in mine, but with my luck, they won't hear anything. I'll try tomorrow morning.

Me too. I've noticed some distortion but it sounded like the rear speaker.

That would be me too. I wonder why they'd need to put another amp in?

Mine sounded like the passenger door speaker was blown, but the dealer said it was normal. However, they led me with questions and helped to say the right words... "the speakers sound distorted".

No clue why they did the amplifier as well, but hey, I'm not one to say no for free stuff :-)

I'm before the breakpoint, but i don't think ive had this problem. Although I only usually have bass turned up to 6-8 and Volume to 25. Maybe the distortion happens at higher levels.

Putting out too much low end bass

Yes this happened to my car also .
we bought another camaro and it sounds great but my black one had a blown
right side speaker and putting out too much low end bass.
they replaced the front speakers with the new amp and it sounds alot better but now the rear speakes are making noise.
so I am going back in again to see what they can do about this..

The white ss sounds so clean compared to our black one ..

so their is a problem with the system just some fine tuning needs to be done...

This applies to me also. So how high is "HIGH". Do they mean all the way up because mine sound real bad maxed out.
