Squeaking sounds Coming from the tires or Suspension System

Well here is my problem. i have a 2010 camaro LS with about 1789 miles so lets say 1800. and well i already did my first oil change and while i was at the dealer. i told him i heard squeaking from the tires or the suspension system. at random times/low speeds but its a pattern. like at a certain point in the tires/rims/suspension..so they told me they drove my car around and no squeaking or any. so im like UGHH. i took it again and yet same thing. they said they check my brakes , tires , rims. NOTHING. so i dont know i left the dealer. and yet! it comes again..and later down the road it leaves. i get home. and started to thing. what can it be. try it again and no squeaking. i dont know what to do. or what it can be. someone PLEASE HELP ME!!

I asked this in another thread, and one guy said he was almost positive it's the front strut mounts. I gonna look into it soon.

I've been hearing squeaking for about a few months now. Took it into the dealer and they've changed my brakepads, cleaned the tire, brakes, wheels, everything and it still squeaks. Let me know if they find anything.

Yeah mine's back. Not as bad, but I do hear it once in a while. Still only has less than 1800 mi so maybe stuff needs to break in more. Post up what you find.

For me it's a high-pitched squeak aver small bumps, or when the suspension flexes on an uneven road, but not on larger jolts.. Speed doesn't matter as it happens going 5MPH or 70+ on the highway, or anything in between. Really annoying as I have this very nice car, and all people can hear as I cruise by is *squeak* *squeak* *squeak*. Kinda embarrassing.

sounds like its coming from the right side on mine. But only noticed it in recent weeks. I am worried about taking it to dealer as I had an Eibach sway bar and spring kit installed on it.

At the dealer now waiting. It's raining so may have to come back next week if they can't hear it. Mine also sounds as if it's coming from the right front.

Well as I thought, they couldn't find anything today. Rain and thunderstorms make it real hard to diagnose noises. Have another appointment next Saturday morning. Hopefully there will be decent weather.

Well I just went back today and took a test drive with one of the techs. He said it may be the brake pads getting somewhat glazed over from lighter use, and tried to bed them in by braking semi-hard a few times. Didn't seem to make a difference to me, actually I think it made it worse. I have a car made last year(September) that has the stick-on weights on the calipers, so I told him about the TSB for the new pads(rollerskate) and he looked it up cause it's the first he heard of it. They ordered me the new pads out of Canada, and hopefully it fixes it, or at least helps.

I did notice that it doesn't do it right away, but only after driving for a little bit, and gets progressively worse the longer I drive, so maybe it is the brake pads. Not sure, but we'll see. Also it seems to do it more when I'm turning and I hit a small wavy bump.

The TSB is if you have the stick-on weights on the caliper for the anti-squeak(early fix for the brake noise), then the dealer is to remove them, and install the new updated pads, with the rollerskate-looking weights, if the customer complains of noise still. There is a thread HERE on the subject. I just didn't feel that I had a brake squeal as the TSB states, cause I know what squealing sounds like, and mine doesn't sound anything like that IMO, but we'll start with the pad TSB and go from there if it doesn't fix my problem.

For everyone who is having squeaking problems.

I've had my brake pads replaced, calipers taken off and looked at, rooters, the whole 9 yards. They can't find a problem and insist that I'm crazy. So, I took some advice and escalated my problem up the Chevrolet customer service ladder. The rep calls me and apologizes for the trouble I've been having and the inconvenience, etc and in return they give me a nice sweet package of 1 years free maintenance. Literally everything is covered under this package, great deal. Problem is the brakes still squeak, and according to my rep "I should contact them when the problem becomes more serious." Personally, I use my brakes alot while driving, and them not working is a pretty serious concern to me. Took some more advice from C5 and lawyered up. In Va this is covered under lemon law, and as they've attempted to fix the problem 3 times I've apparently got an open and shut case.

I know it was a long post, and in the end the problem wasn't actually fixed. But it kind of was at the same time.
