Homelink?

I was wondering if the Camaro will have Homelink as a standard feature? It seems like every car nowadays has it, and I feel it would be kinda crazy for Gm not have it on this car unless they have a good reason and for the life of me I cannot think of one. The only thing I can think of is that it may take up a little space and slightly reduce visibility out of the top center of the windshield but hey I don't plan on tracking UFO's from my Camaro so I don't think that is the reason lol. And it can't be that expensive, so does anyone know? Or is it going to be on there but it just isnt in the pics yet cause it kinda goes without saying?

Its the programmable garage door opener thing found up on the ceiling above the rear view mirror usually.

i'm sure it will, they will probably integrate it with like the sun visor or something, it would be silly and frustrating to not have it.

^ Yeah I hope you're right, just lwhen I look at pics like the one below I don't really see room for one without moving the passenger airbag notification thing over, which I figured they would have done by now.

Also I was looking at the picture and was wondering what those vent things between the light controls and the Passenger Air Bag screen are, is that the mic?

IIRC there was some mention of the rear view mirror that's been shown is not final production, which could mean the entire piece above it isn't final either.

The 'vent thing' is the microphone for Onstar and Bluetooth I believe.

Why can't something be placed in those two squares on either side of the AirBag notification box? They look like blanks for options.

i'm sure one of those is for the sunroof but i don't know what would go in the other so that would be a good spot for it

Yeah that is what I was thinking. My guess is that the longer one is for the sunroof and the wide one is for homelink? That would be good.

Cool, thanks! Hearing that from you makes me feel better, even if source is questionable.
