Well Im hoping its the lighting, because I woulf not want my Truck to come out looking like the Vette in the Link above.
(looks too light and no depth to it).

I'm actually hoping for a result, like the picture in your Sig.

The pic in my sig was under very controlled lighting and 3 remote flashes in an unlit parking garage. The sun/clouds/dusk/shadows do all kinds of things to this color Some good, some not so good.

It is one of the most popular colors at a car show though.
