This is JohnnyCamaro AKA John Cox from GM Accessories. I want to clear up some confusion. The Blade spoiler is similiar to many 2nd gen spoilers and is a three piece spoiler. The Blade spoiler is an accessory that will be available sometime after launch as a future accessory. The blade spoiler will work with vehicles that have a lip spoiler from the factory, as it uses the same mounting points.
As for the High Wing Spoiler, it is available as an LPO at launch with an RPO code. The Spoiler will not work with vehicles that have a lip spoiler from the factory as the mounting points are different. Therefore if one would want this spoiler with a vehicle that already has the lip spoiler, they would have to buy a new decklid and then have the Wing Spoiler installed on the new decklid. I hope all this info helps and good luck ordering.... |

JohnnyCamaro....
Any plans to release a spoiler like the ones on the 'vert concept and Bumblebee? The one on the SS seems to be shorter in height. ![]()

... and if you ask me, the one on the Bumblebee and SS look exactly the same. The angle makes the one on Bumblebee look bigger.

that is not what that is referring to you can get the high wing spoiler with any of the packages you will just use different holes to have it installed, so you may need a new truck lid

SO far i have to say the accesories really suck. You need to buy other parts to get the wing...you can get yellow interior trim kit but still have to keep the blue lights underneath making it green looking while the speedometre will still have the blue lights. It will end up looking like a xmas tree |

i think if you order it upfront with the high wing spoiler they will put the correct holes in it. but if you want to add the high wing spoiler at a later date after the standard spoiler was installed...that's when you will have to get a new deck lid or deal with the extra holes.

to me the blade spoiler looks more like the spoiler you could get on the Last Monte Carlo, the nascar inspired one, not the ironing board one...

In that pic, the "Wing Spoiler" looks a bit different from what I've seen listed as "High Wing Spoiler" are they both available? or is the high wing (like on the build your own website) the only one being released as a wing spoiler?
Oops. I mean't the pic at the bottom of the 1st page. which show's both the blade & wing spoilers in that accessories poster. Last edited by Mayhem; 05-14-2009 at 06:46 PM. Reason: reply posted on wrong page# |
