I am assuming you have a M6. When the instructions tell you to pull the starter and install the flywheel tool that keeps the engine from rotating, it would be interesting to note if we really needed to that or can we just keep it in gear to pull the crank bolt out. With the E brake set, I don't think the car would move when loosening the bolt. Let us know if you did or didn't need that flywheel tool.

thanks
Dean

What's up with the Ford plug on the back of that thing!? Haha

That's a cool looking kit, can't wait to see it installed on your car. Make sure to post dyno numbers when done!!!

Please - more pics' of the runners, and as many as you could share in general. Very interested in Edelbrock's claims. Looking forward to your results too

That's a beautiful looking kit. I say the most beautiful. As far as numbers goes, I bet it will great TQ numbers similar to the one running on Corvettes. The think that differentiates this kit, is the runners and front entry. I'm just surprised that I have not seen any rep from Edelbrock on this forum.

Ok guys I am a stand still on the install. I have made it too step #52 in the instructions. The bracket that they sent for the belt tensioner is the wrong one. I just got off the phone with Edlebrock and they are trying to work it out. The one they sent me they think is for there Corvette kit not the camaro. As soon as I hear back from them I will post up!!!

Take a breath, have a beer, and stay calm. It is only a temporary setback.

Well heres my update on the install. Spent some time on the the phone with Eldebrock and I have the wrong bracket. They agreed too ship the correct one to me over night express. I cant ask for more then that. I have to say they were awesome to deal with and have great customer service. The guy that was helping me even gave me his cell number if I have anymore problems.

I tried removing the crank bolt by putting the car in gear and holding the brakes but that did not work at all. The motor still spins must be slipping the clutch. So I put my Snap on 1/2" inpact gun on it and off it came! Got the whole drilled and pin set in crank, havent figured out yet how I am gonna torque it the 140 degrees yet with out holding the motor from spinning.

I have a lot of the little stuff done, I jumped over the pulley bracket install so I could keep working on it. I am pretty much ready to drop the super charger in place as soon as the bracket gets here tomorrow.

The instructions so far seem to be okay. I did find a couple of small things that werent exactly as shown or stated such as wrench and bolt head sizes.

That looks really nice. The edelbrock kit looks very "finished". Will be interesting to see what kind of numbers you put down. Good luck with the install.

"Step 74. Install the crank bolt supplied in Bag #4 and torque it to 37 ft/lbs then rotate it an additional 140°." Pardon my ignorance, but does this mean you continue to tighten the bolt after its torqued to 37 ft/lbs by turning it the additional 140 degrees?
