Ok. this Guy Seems Familar

..

He Was Standing Guard Of The Vert This Weekend. Telling EVERYONE that was close all about the NEW CAMARO! He Even Had Some CAMARO5 Bussiness Cards (not Sure if he was giving any out tho, as I DIDNT GET ONE,LOL). Someone would come up and mention something (anything) about the car AND if they were MISSINFORMED he set them straight.. I Cant Count the amount of times I heard This Boomin Voice..""SIR,(MA'AM) DONT TOUCH THE CAR!!"" But He was very nice and Courtious The Whole time.. I'm certain that someone would overhear him talking about the CAMARO and ask another Question, And Off he Would go into another explanation. Or Giving them the details about the up comming production and release..Must be a Great Job To Talk about Cars ALL DAY Long AND GET PAID FOR IT.. I Had One where He is looking Straight at me but Some Woman Got her shoulder in the way right as i clicked the pic

I Mean Look At the two guys there just absorbing Everything He says..To Me They Look Like 2 lil pups being teased with a porkchop..

And The guy On The Left, With his arms Crossed... Doesnt he look like he is about to start kissing the car..Look At That Smirk..He Is Thinkin "" Oh Yeah just a few more months And you will be All Mine, I WIll have My Way With you..

AND THESE 3 All BOWING Before The Mighty That IS CAMARO.

I Actually had an OLDER gentlman ask me While I was Snappin away..if the vert was concept Or a Production car that was available to buy.. And Of course i Had to set him straight..

what was really interesting was that when we showed up and started standing near our cars on Saturday night, several people came over and asked us questions about our cars and then started asking questions about the 5th gen... so we just started talking... I stood there for about an 30 mins while the rest of the owner group went on to go drink and wait in the bar... and at one time I think we had a group of about 10 or so all asking questions and I was answering questions... it was pretty awesome

Ok, Ok.. I'll Come Clean Yes I DID SIT IN THE MUDSTAIN...BUT I WAS Just Sizing Up The...So Called Competition.. Checking The Fit And Finish..ETC,ETC...If It were not For ROUSCH, SHELBY, SALEEN I Doubt there would be any serious competition. I Say this Because the GT's NOT THE NICHE CARS MENTIONED ABOVE, BUT REGULAR FORD MADE GT's. Are A joke, Atleast The Ones That Have Been Through The Shop where i work.

But I Get Credit I AM WEARING MY CAMARO 5 SHIRT...

Good times. I gotta say...it was an honor to have our car in there with the 5th gen. We had fun times setting up, hanging out and especially breaking it down. Turtle and I ran into an old friend that just so happens to have the job of babysitting these fine automobiles and he let me ride in the ZR1 while taking it to the trailer!!!! Too bad the rev limiter on it was set to 3 grand. Boo.

Man, that WAS a great time. I enjoyed every minute of it (except for the getting lightheaded part - think I had a sinus deal going on...). BUT....

Turtle, you were saying that you got to talk about cars for a while to a bunch of people....that's exactly what I got to do all darn day! Trixxter was right...someone would come up and ask a question...and another would overhear asking another.

Very rarely was I stumped...I was surprised. But, I did have to make a phone call. So, a BIG thanks to Mindz for the help!...and to Dragoneye too...lol.

You know, the GM product folks were very knowledgeable. I listened to them answer questions all day long to tons of people. Knowing a lot about a particular vehicle can be easy stuff. Knowing a lot about a LOT of vehicles can be tough!

So...kudos to all the team members that were helping out my fellow San Antonians!...Brian, Christina, Victoria, Sean, ....(oh boy...I know I'm going to get yelled at later on! ....dangit!!! I'm drawing a blank!!!)......ugh...I see all your faces...can't remember names. I'm sorry.

But, ya'll were a blast to hang out with. It would have been nice to have had a beer with ya'll too. Maybe next time? I'd like to!

Also, I got to meet a bunch of Camaro5 members. Some didn't know I'd be there and I also got to turn a bunch of others towards this site. It was fun to hear how people got their information on the Camaro. Maybe we'll see a few new faces over here too!

Scott, thanks for trusting me w/ the vert. It was in good hands. That was by far the BEST off duty overtime I've EVER done!

Ryan, if we see you here too, very nice meeting and working with you. I'll be looking forward to next year as well....WHEN I HAVE MY 5th GEN!!!
