Does the iPod nano work with the PDMI?

I'm thinking of getting the 16gb nano. Will it work?

I don't have an iPod Nano so I can't say for sure but according to the attached PDF, it will work.

No, the newest nano will NOT work fully. It will index every time you start your car. Annoying as all hell because it won't let you change songs and it will restart from your first song alphabetically every time. I recommend you buy a refurbished regular ipod instead.

I have the 5th gen nano. Most of the time when I start the car, it forgets the playlist I was in and plays the first song alphabetically, but I am able to switch songs right away.

same here... I have a 2nd Gen 4GB that stays in the car, hooked up, mainly because it doesn't hold a charge (but as long as its got a external power source its fine).
