If I had the money, I'd pay someone to put wheel sweep lines on it from the 69, hide-a-way headlight covers and a cowl induction hood, other than that, not much else.

The Penske cars are cool, but I just think the Smokey car is better. It is a very unique car, with a lot of sneaky mods done to it. Smokey Yunick was the master at bending the rules to the max.

the problem is is that Matte paint grabs a lot of dirt that doesn't like to come off easily (at least in my experience with it) so washing it isn't as easy as you might like

I will get custom rally stripes painted on, but I'm undecided on my color combination. Right now I'm leaning towards Cyber gray with silver stripes. I'll also tint my windows to 20%. Polished wheels, billet grill.

$3,000 for the entire car would be low end. I paid $1,000 for just my stripes to be painted and cleared on my 4th gen.

Does anyone have the site where I can see the different colors that are offered. I sent in my deposit Mon. and ordered Victory Red. But I notice there is another dull red and want to make sure which color is which. Is Victory Red like what I call Lipstick Red?

Victory Red is the very bright, bold red. Crystal Red Tintcoat is the darker shade of red.
