Just an FYI for those who have never attended the Nationals. All Camaro's need to register through the American Camaro Association (ACA). The ACA holds a dinner and charity auction Saturday night at the fairgrounds you can register for that through them as well. Scott usually attends. Hotel information is there as well. Better reserve a room NOW!!

http://www.americancamaro.org/nationals.php

We'll be there, been going since 2006.

Your registration with ACA gets you entrance into the fairgrounds for the weekend. When you register with the ACA you enter in the class you want.
There are no Camaro classes in the GM Nationals.
It's really a show within a show.

That's correct. But, it's nice to drive into the fairgrounds with your ACA registration sticker and not have to worry about parking. The ACA does have a non-judged class. I would register through the ACA and enter either the non-judged class or the participant vote class. Then you can come and go as you please all weekend with your registration sticker (which has to be on the car before entering the fairgrounds).

Sorry all my holes are already all spoken for. You would think with a five car garage that at least one space would be clear.

We stayed at the Hotel Carlisle last year in the carriage house not the main building to keep an eye on the cars. It's easy to get to from the fairgrounds. Have reservations with them for this year.

http://www.hotelcarlisle.com/accommodations.htm

Here's a link to the American Camaro Assoc. with a list of hotels nearby the fairgrounds.

For those that aren't afraid to "rough it" in tents we had a blast lastyear... $25 gets you a 10x30 spot we put up 7 or 8 tents in 2 spots last year an still had room to park a car or two at the tents... The rest can stay in their showfield spot, the grounds are open 24/7 and patrolled by security (they stopped by our beer pong game at 3am last year to say hi)

HAHA Nice

I will be staying at the Fairfield Suites... It is where we stayed last year and it was very nice. Not nearly as many people there as you would think and it is only 5 moinutes from the grounds!
