I took a look at the NASCAR schedule for Infineon.

http://www.infineonraceway.com/ticke...save_mart_350/

Final practice for Sprint Cup ends at 11:50 with the NASCAR West Race beginning at 12:30. No idea how popular racing is for that day but I cannot foresee a massive traffic jam during the race if it lasts for a couple of hours.

We'd be passing the track around 12 or so. Might be a traffic jam...We can adjust the route to head east right after the golden gate to head up to Napa the back way. Take a look at going from B, east towards F, then up to C as first chance.

I'll take a look at the traffic monitors before we leave and we can make a decision based on the groups vote.

I won't know for sure until it gets closer. But this sounds awesome. I'd love to go.

If I end up going, We can meet up in Petaluma to bypass Sears Point and I can take you guys around the "backside" in from Petaluma over to Sonoma (12) and over a very scenic (but twisty ) route into Yountville.

Just got the word that the other appointment has been postponed, I'm in!!

We still on for this event? I propose cutting over from point B to point F and then North again. The Wife and I have been looking forward to this ride for a while now!

Still haven't heard a definitive word on the route to be taken. Also, I have a friend or two that would like to tag but they drive "other" cars. What is the consensus on this?

Becka rolls with us in her Charger*cough*%$#@ We tried to push her to the back of the line but she is stubborn!

Kidding. I don't see a problem with it I guess... almost seems weird though. But I don't really care, not that my opinion really matters HA HAA!

This is Mindz' baby and he's in la-la land right now - more so than usual. He'll be back soon.

Event is still on. I think that this is a great idea. It will let us out onto 29 about half a mile south of our first stop. Instead of cutting through the Sears Point, I think we will be following this new route for leg b of the trip. I'll set up a new itinerary and update the original post from work.

Thanks for the suggestion and I look forward to meeting you.

Glad to contribute and am looking forward to the event and meeting everyone!!

Let me know if you have any questions on the meet-up spot or anything else.

Oh yeah, forgot to ask, what time do you anticipate being at the meeting spot in Petaluma (the place is literally 3 mins from the freeway)

Aside from T_long, has anyone else's plans changed? I'm trying to get an accurate head count for Saturday. So far we have 10 cars.

Okay it's official I am out. :(
Jay, I'm going to have to wait till Tahoe to get the Bowtie, I just made the fourth payment in a row for my sisters car that's in my name. So I am broke till my next check.

If you need the money you can just sell it to someone else, I am sorry for the delay.
