I invited a friend who manages the support center where I work out to the mod day. She doesn't have a camaro but loves mine, and would love to have one.

In the bottom pic jr is creepy/evil looking.

It doesn't look like I'll have the LED mirrors in time for mod day so I might have to get with 1 RD JEWL later to install them.

Didn't know you ordered them. I will definitely help you out. I have the boot down to a science. Are you going to hook them up fully as running lights too or just as turn signals as I did?

Just let em know when you get them in. Rest of the summer doesn't look to bad for me and traveling. I don't think our markers will be in by sat. Looks like they should ship tomorrow. At least that is what he said here.

I wanted to try out the back seat... IT SUCKS!

No way I could ride back there too long. My neck was totally scrunched. The second shot OldSchoolCamaro sat in the front so I could see how it would be if someone had to be in the back with someone in the front. Not good!

I hope the weather is good Sunday!

Remember my son did it from here to the Valdosta. He is 11 and was able to stretch out over back two seats.

I'm in the 2nd group buy for the LED mirrors which finally got to 10 yesterday. I haven't decided how I'll wire them yet.

The LED sidemarkers are an easy install. Just remove enough of the inner fender screws to pull it back so you can put in a screwdriver or your hand to release the sidemarker. It is possible you could have them by Saturday.

Yep, definitely coming over. I have Eibach Springs and sways for the Maro. As for the hood, I didn't buy the one from ACS. It had some flaws, so I passed on it.

Thanks for offering. Let me see what hrpiii and my wife say. We are supposed to head over together.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Look forward to see you all.

1 Red Jewl, thanks for the offer, but looks like we are going to come over on Sunday morning also.

I might have a hard time leaving the Mecum Auction on Saturday. I might find some good looking 69 Maro that wants me to bring her home and .........crud, wife says we don't have any more garage space and I gotta save my money for my B-day bash.

Just wanted to offer you all so it may make it a little easier.

I am heading to the Kruse Auction this summer to look for a 67-69 this year. May bring a G3 home if there is a nice one. Really want a 2nd maro.

See you all on Sunday.

Springs and Sways

OK to keep this short instead of a PM, here it is...

Talked to Joe at BMR yesterday and he called me back twice then said he needed to talk to the shipping manager so he would call me back. No call yesterday eve. So I sent an email with all my UPS info, emails at time of sale and others that said they would ship everything on teh 5th of May.

No answer to email this AM so at noon I called again. Got Joe and then he said he was talking to shipping and production managers and was getting th ewhole story then he woudl call me back. about 1.5 hours later Allen, President of BMR called and said without getting into all the details, they screwed everything up since the 5th. Bottom line all of my stuff shoudl have been shipped last wednesday at the latest with teh first shipment of front sways that went out. Then if he would have known yesterday, they could have it to me by Friday but unfortunately it can only get here by Monday.

I told him about our mod day and that is why I ordered everything almost 4 weeks ago. He said he could give me an additional 10% off the part to make up for some of the overnight shipping charge sothey can get it here by Friday. I told him I tried to tell Joe yestrday, but never got a call back and why shoudl I pay anything additional for th added expense to get it to me by Friday.

Bottom line is they ate all teh additional cost. Discounted my total order to about 50% of actual costs and he personally guaranteed I will have them Friday with overnight UPS. They Powder Caoted teh Sway set this AM and he was personally going to see to it.

Here is my take, I am a brand loyal guy and plan to (in the very near future) do the Trailing Arms, Toe Rods and Tower Strut and will now definately use BMR. If they make things right, then why should I not trust teh company or promote their product. If it is a quality product, "J" is sold on BMR, then I can bare with this one issue. Never did they try and push any blame on me, they always apologized, the owner called to take ownership adn explain, so they have earned my business.

So my major mods for sunday are, MGW, Springs and Sways Front and Rear.
Minor mods... Fluids, Filter DRL replacement and most likely not, markers unless I get surprised before Sunday.

Looking forward to Sunday. Thanks again guys.
