A very expensive mistake...

Check out this video of Eddie Griffen wrecking a Ferrari Enzo... after that guy in california split his in half around a telephone pole and now this, the number of Enzos in the world is down to 398 at the most.... Can you imagine wrecking a million dollar car!?

Turns out the Enzo didn't even belong to Griffin. It was the executive producers, who is making the movie Red Line with Griffin in it.

Can you even imagine! If i were that producer I am sure I would have killed him (However, if I was a proud owner of an Enzo I am 100% certain that NO ONE else would be behind the wheel of it)!

I mean, it is not like you are just going to go out and buy another Enzo!

IMHO, that car doesn't look like 1000K to me....
Stupid actors, they should stick to driving on blue-screens

I still think this was done as a publicity stunt. Look at the way Eddie G is dressed; no fire suite or anything on a track??? I think this is how to get 10 million in publicity for 1.5 mm. He does that to the Camaro concept and we will FIGHT!!!

Cheers to all,
Thaxton

He had the wheels turned full right at some pretty good speeds there. Doubt it was a stunt. If this was a publicity stunt, I'd "take care" of the person who thought it up. NO ONE purpously destroys an Enzo for a little air time. And you can't just go out and fix up a car like that. What a moron....sickens me.

It "sickens" me as well Tag.

A friend of mine mentioned that that's what insurance is for...to hell with the insurance money. I'd want to replace the Enzo with another one! With only 400 made, that may be tough to do. Then again, anyone who lends out their Enzo to someone who obviously shouldnt be behind the wheel of a car like that, doesn't deserve to own one!

I agree. It is not like he is just going to be able to go down to the dealer and pick another one up. As stringent as Ferrari was choosing who was allowed to purchase an Enzo, I would have to say that if this is a stunt, the owner was just black listed by Ferrari.

It was a promo event for the movie 'Redline'

I feel no pain for the producer, anyone who puts a car like that in the hands of an inexperienced driver needs to understand the risk.

It does suck for sure, but he gave the green light for Griffin to drive it

Also, if it was a stunt, $1.5 Million can buy quite a bit of advertising
Then again, insurance may pay off the car and the advertising is free. Hmmmmm

They wreck cars/trucks every day for movies TV, this Enzo is no different IMO.
Hell, it may have been a kit car that LOOKED just like one if this is a publicity stunt...

I know there's a few insurance companies who won't insure you if you are racing. On top of that, being a 1.5 million dollar car, I bet the ins co might have put a clause in there that only the owner is covered. Sure, the owner could be covered in case of the veh being totalled. But, let someone else in there and you be dropped!!! With no coverage!

Yes, the people were selected to be the owners of the Enzo by Ferrari. After this, I pray he is black listed like Casull had said. If this was a stunt, this was a blatant slap in the face to all at Ferrari.
