Garage Queens sign in here!

So I've noticed lately people think my Camaro is a "Garage Queen". I took delivery on June 29th, 2009 and have 2600 miles on it. Who else out there has low miles?

I highly doubt my 2000 GT will be worth anything in the future, except maybe to some crazy guy that wants one.

Honestly just don't drive the car all that much. In the last 2 years I haven't driven the car but about 2 times and less than 50 miles each time. I had originally planned to start doing engine work and other mods. Had some family issues and my job was not what I called secure.

Recently been in school so the car is definitely on the back burner.

But honestly I think it runs in the family. My father had a 1990 5.0 that he had bought brand new. In 10 years the car had 18k miles on it.

I picked mine up at the end of November, and I've got somewhere around 3,000 miles on it.

May 31st 2009, and I JUST hit 3000 last night. And 500 of those miles are from driving it home to Maryland from the dealership in Massachusetts.

I've been driving it much more though in the last few weeks, I figure I'll never get to use the warranty until its too late if I dont drive it, might as well work the kinks out now :p

I'm not looking at it as an investment. I just have other cars to drive. And I like to enjoy mine in the sunshine and when the roads are wide open. The Camaro is like a caged beast in traffic.

Not a Camaro but my 09 GTI only has 2000 miles on it,picked it up last June.

Too many potholes still around plus they are doing alot of road work around here. So,my Jeep has been getting alot of playing time.I'm off for a week so if the weather stays nice and gas keeps creeping up,I will be driving it...at least for the week.

When I took delivery last May, the months of May, June, and July were the rainiest months on record here in NY...:(

Also, most of my driving is local too...

But I do use my Camaro as my daily driver and am not 'saving it'...

Life's too short not to drive it and enjoy it every single day...I learned that firsthand when I watched my beloved Dad die a few months before I ordered my Camaro...

He always said, "I'd rather wear out than rust out"...that philosophy should apply to our lives as well as our Camaros!!!...WooHoo!!!!...

Now get out there and 'drive it like ya stole it'!!!!!...SAFELY, of course!!!...

I got my SS 8/21/09 and by this spring it only had 2,600 rain free miles. My 3,470 mile trip to the camaro5fest and Florida changed all that. 6,000+ miles now but it's still in near new condition. I'm not really worried about the mileage, just want to keep it as pristine as possable. Sunny days and no wal-mart parking lots for me.
