OOPS

so i was putting on my headers and two of the o2 sensors did not come out of the stock exhaust. i need to get one pre-cat and one post-cat...gm wants 140 for the front and 60 for the back. does anyone have any idea where i can get these cheaper than the dealership. thanks in advance

Same thing happened to me... Both passenger side O2 sensors were over tightened FROM THE FACTORY so the threads were destroyed when we removed them. GM is the only supplier; no aftermarket at this time. This has happened to quite a few who have installed LT.

On a side note, when I was picking my new O2 sensors up from my local GM Dealer the techs stated they see this all the time on all GM models...

It wouldn't be a bad idea to put a little anti-seize on the threads of the new ones before you put them in. Just don't get any on the sensor.

yeah i knew to be careful with them and two came out really easy almost like they were only finger tight. the other two however i knew were scrapped from the start. Good thought on the never sieze. other than that issue and the back order on em of a week, the header install went like a glove. only had to have the car jacked up like 14" and the dynatechs slid right in. thanks for the input guys i appreciate it.

Just a heads up, the new O2 sensors come from GM with anti-seize on them already.
