car looking sharp man!

after i talked with you about the muffler, i looked into it more and the consensus was thats its horrible to do on a v6.

I fianlly got a full time job in early september so the company bought me a truck and my camaro is hitting the garage in a couple weeks for the winter.

So i got 4 solid months to save up and a lot of it will be going towards mods and the first thing i will get is a exhaust and do something with the rims

Powder coating

About how much does powder coating the rims cost? I'm guessing you need to pull the wheels off the car and toss em in truck to get them there. Can you leave the tire on the rim? And, can they do gun metal grey? I was hoping to match the color of my stripes.

The place here in Mooresville quoted me $110-$120 per wheel. That does not include dismounting or remounting, that would be on you. They strip any finish that is on the wheel before powdercoating. They have a large assortment of colors to choose from.

a good working weekend for me.

Installed Pfadt trailing arms.

Painted Calipers (black calipers with grey Brembo logos). Pics to come later.

*** Note - Trailing arms installation states about 2 hours. They mean per side!! For those that know me, I am no little fella.. but at one point, I had both feet against the frame pulling on a torque wrench to break those bolts free. And other little headaches along the way (for example, how to pull a 4" bolt out with only 3" of space). ugh. But some how, it's done, and very happy of the outcome.

I've been hanging around the boards for awhile, but haven't participated much to date. Being in Central Indiana, I wanted to share with you and introduce my 2010 Nickey Camaro L99 Number 29. Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to meet you guys at different functions in the area. Until then, I hope to become more active on these boards and get to know you and your cars and help out whenever I can.

Just saying hi to my Indiana friends. I'm about ready to put our Camaro away for the winter months. We recently had the Hunnert Car Pile Up in Decatur and it was a great show, we had atleast 300 cars cruise up to Snappers Bar & Grill up on the square in Clinton. Then the next weekend I cruised over to the Newport Hill Road Climb.Have you seen the Hurst Camaro's, they have all 3 colors at Baum's and have sold 3 so far.

Hi Wer2foxs,
Yes, we will plan on a spring Camaro meet. Dave-O is back in school at ISU and I saw him at a car show & cruise in Normal mid September and no he doesn't have a Camaro yet.
