Well I had to get some ZL1 part for my car - cause that seems like the thing to do now.. So I upgraded to the ZL1 active fuel management system. You can even get them dyed to match the car, the IBM ones really shine.

This is a very fun day. If you have mods needed to be done on your car, this is the group to assist. If you enjoy helping others do stuff to their cars, this is the group. If you enjoy hanging out and talking about these cars, this is the group. If you want to see a wide variety of mods done on these cars and you may be interest, but have not seen it in person..this may be the group.

Just jump on the thread and ask Heinz about coming or adding any mods and he will get you on the list.

Does anyone know where I can go to to get my calipers painted. Wanting to do some striping this spring too, so would like to match the color and have the same guy do both. I'm up in Fishers so north side is ideal.

Just order a G2 kit and paint the calipers yourself! Just take your time, clean them well, follow the directions and you will be ok! I have used their kits before and plan to do my Brembos

Been thinking about painting mine but not sure if I want to paint them red, yellow or some kind of blue.

good point might have to see what kind of blue they have. I am not sure I will go with blue it would have to be close to the color and I can't tell from the blues they show if it is close. Might go with yellow. Thanks Steve NOW I can't make up my mind which color I want. Not sure about the blue not matching. Red might be the way to go? Yellow will it look right?? Black I think is out??

Red calipers on a Yellow car with Blue stripes? Do you dress yourself before leaving the house.

if "painting" go with the G2. But are you talking about "powdercoating", you may want to look around. Several good powdercoaters here in Indy.

RED - like Hank said, too many BRIGHT offsetting colors
BLACK - would look good but also wont stand out. Will actually stand out less than stock.
YELLOW - You'd have to match rally yellow otherwise it will clash and its VERY close the the yellow so you'll notice a difference. Plus, hard to keep clean.
BLUE - I voted for blue becasuse it will tie it together. Keep in mind with the blue, you need to get close. The stripes and calipers are far enought away, a slight variation would go unnoticed. SLIGHT variation.

I painted mine with high heat engine enamel. I went with a simple over the counter color thoough. Not sure if he could match his stripes. He could have them professionally painted or powder coated and they could probably match about anything....

If you guys are at mod day, check out mine. Painted by yours truely, cost me total about $25... and time!

That was done 1.5 years ago, they were Black last time I was there replacing my grill. They are Black with grey "BREMBO" lettering.

Need to speak to Ms. Missy on that other one. LOL
