o2 sensor trick

How come you cant plug in a device for the o2 sensor plug that has a preset o2 sensor reading to trick the computer for those states with emissions testing? That way you can delete the cats and put lt headers and computer thinks the cats are running great?

There was 02 simulators for quite a while. I believe the govt cracked down on that and most selling them had to stop. Now you just turn off the rear 02 codes in the tuning.

The computer is looking for a difference between the front and rear. If the rear just reported a fixed value it would cause the computer to think therre was a problem.

it's against federal regulations to bypass any emissions control devices on vehicles used on public roadways... there was a big crackdown on them by the EPA... don't think you can find them available anymore, except probably on epray...
