I wouldn't (even though I'm putting somewhere between that and 7k down). My dealer asked for $500 and I asked him, "Is that all"? I wouldn't have fliched at $1000. I probably would have had an issue with anything over that though.

$2,500, non-refundable, but we planned on putting down more than that when it would be delivered and there is no way we will not take the car, so we felt it was worth it for us to get MSRP and be #12 out of 20. Could not find another dealer in the area that knew [U]anything or was not wanting thousands (one said $5,000-$10,000) over MSRP.
