Anyone have reorganize their garage for their new Camaro?

I have had 1/2 of my garage for a car. My Pasat fit in the side where the washer and dryer are against the rear wall. The Camaro is about 8 inches longer than the Passat so it won't fit on that side. I spent about 3 days, throwing things away and moving stuff to the other side of the garage (mototcycles, bicycles, surfboards etc.) and I havn't even ordered the car yet. Getting a little anal in my old age.

I has to reorganize my garage because I had 2 motorcycles, a trailer on one side and two deep freezers, my tool boxes and other crap in the orherside. I rented a storage space and now I have my camaro, motorcycles, tools and one deep freezer in my garage.

It wasn't to much to reorganize. The motorcycles were on the left, wifes car on the right..

Now her car sits in the drive way next to my suitcase !!

Did the same thing a few weeks before I brought my Camaro home. Moved the motorcycles, hung up the surfboards, cleaned-up, threw out... now I fit 2 motorcycles, a motorcycle trailer, 5 surfboards, washer, dryer, rolling toolbox, my mercedes and the Camaro all in a 2 car garage.

Now I just pray no earthquakes.

I ended up moving my entire garage into a newly constructed workshop in my yard. Now I have a garage for my car, a 16x20 workshop and a man-cave with all the necessary things to hide!

I had a 2 car garage built to house my camaro. I got ready to order the car, came home, measured my side entry garage and found it too small. My wife said why don't you just get a smaller car. I said this is the car I want and then decided if I were to do it then do it right. Now it has a wonderful home.

I know a great company called garage outfitters. (http://www.garageoutfitters.com/cabinets.php)
They came in and installed all the cabinets for me and did the floors! it compliments my car great!! The floors look like a showroom floor, I mean It just makes the car stand out. Check out that website and look at everything they have! They were just awesome. I know they are national so most of y'all could probably get in with them. I don't have any pics right now, but I will take some soon! The floors are what really blew me away, but the cabinets were awesome.

Now I happened to have it done before I got my camaro, but I was so Impressed I thought I'd have to share it with yall since it kinda goes with this thread. If you have one around it's worth checking out if you need new stuff for your garage!

I'll get pics up asap

I re-arranged my garage to accommodate the Camaro's size. Before, I had a small car which required little room... so I had to do some spring cleaning, moved my beer fridge to a different corner, built a shelf, stacked a bunch of stuff differently..etc..

It was basically like playing Tetris, but the Camaro's been garaged nightly since the weekend I purchased it.

My wife has been on me for a long time to clean out our garage! When I got the Camaro the garage was cleaned out that weekend! Now she tells me we can buy another one if we can put it in the attic!

One side of the garage had all kinds of stuff hanging from the ceiling and walls. I got rid of it all and insulated and sheetrocked the ceiling, put in a new window and upgraded some electrical. Oh yeah, a carpet went down on the floor!

i reorganized ALOT, not remodeled but it took some time. Our garage like most was used for storage and mostly becuase i hate climbing into the attic and having to get stuff and the rest was because i never put up the shelves i promised my wife i would install when we bought the house.

Well 2 weeks before my baby arrived I immediatly bagan building shelving for the garage and stuffing things "neatly" into the attic. My wife was very pleased with my enthusiasm that she even bought me a few upgrades for my car when it arrived.

Oh yeah. Have an attached 3 car garage but only store my cars there when it snows. Now that I'm on the verge of buying a Camaro, cleaned it up and threw out/donated all uneccesary junk, such as, old furniture, excess clothing, etc. BTW as of now, located Rally Yellow 2SS/RS with automatic transmission. Keeping my fingers crossed. This vehicle was available last week, but someone - I was told - purchased it. Out of state dealer re-contacted me and said it became available again.

Better question... Who hasnt! Cleaned, reorganized, plans on painting concrete, repainting walls, adding in cabinets to clean it up more!

The wife's Yukon was garaged next to my '69 for the last 6 yrs since we bought our house. She always wanted to garage her car. When we ordered the Camaro she swore up and down that the Camaro was going to sit outside. Once we got it home I said....let's put the Camaro inside because it's so new and I don't want someone to jack with it. It's been in the garage ever since....almost 3 mths now.

So....yes...we re-arranged the garage. The Yukon got put out and the new Camaro got a spot next to the '69.

Here is a pic of it the first night I got it home

No spouse. My boyfriend did tell me last night that I really should sell something. He's funny.

That looks great!!! Would LOVE to do that...twice! Then I could put two vehicles in the air. That would rock. I'd love to have everything at the house vs some in storage.

Better make that "most" women. Although I want the big closets, too.

Nice garage mates for sure!!!

As for my garage...it was all straight and organized in August, I swear. But things had stacked up again. As of this past Sunday night, though, it's straightened back up! No pix. I should take one...but I HATE the way garages are here. They are unfinished inside and no attics, so I cannot do my normal garage "decorating." However, I think the Camaro on the left, since I'm driving it the most, and the c6 on the right look very nice together.
