DT Headers clearance probs'

My DTs' only have 4mm clearance to the steering rods on one side of the block. As a consequence when going round right corners,i have a rubbing sound which upon investigating looks like, where the weight transference of the engine rocks the engine on its mounts,it closes the gap to zero and rubs.
Anyone else experienced this issue?

I just installed them as well; I haven't seen any clearance issues yet. Haven't heard any rubbing either... I will be heading over to the dyno soon as well.

Mine are Shorties.
I'm wondering if there was a problem at Jig welding time as the Headers didnt meet up underneath, where they meet the rest of the system,on the drivers side only. The union was pointing slightly down which required a small slice be taken off the joining assembly.
