My Borla ATAK story

On Friday I got the Kook LT headers, high flow cat and Borla ATAK exhaust on. Saturday I got to run my car at Texas Motor Speedway for the Laps for Charity event. On the back stretch I floored it everytime and a couple times on the front. Afterwords the photogapher said my car was the only one they could hear , It brought a smile to my face! This thing sounds awesome! I then had another guy come up and ask me about it. Then yet another guy asked me what the heck power plant I was running under that hood of mine

Is the ATAK exhaust system something you can do by yourself. Just bolt right on? Looking at getting S type or ATAK. Leaning towards the ATAK.

Sounds Great! Also sounds like you were having a great time as well! When you are just cruising it sounds like there is some drone (a bass sound). Is this just the video camera microphone, my computer speakers or is there a little bit of drone? And if there is, is it bad?

Yes without question you can do it by yourself but if you have a second person they would be helpful for dropping the old one out (it can be a handful) and again when you do the final adjustment to make sure the tips are centered I had to fight mine a bit to center the tips the way I wanted them.

It is louder but I really dont think it is as loud as my muffler delete I had. But then again, I could be comaring the drone to my Flowmaster in my Avalanche and it's really bad. I have the windows down as well. I have a before and after here http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82005 and Borla has a sample as well.

hey i really need some help with this....i already sprung for the ATAK system and im leaning on getting some Doug thorley LT headers, but they have no cats.....so i wanna get some high flow cats to add in there.....but ive never done this stuff before...total novice with engines/mechanics....do they fit together right (the LTs, exhaust and high flow cats)? im sure you would need to have compatible brands/parts to get this to work and the only thing stopping me from springing for the DT hedders is the cat system (which i really want to have on the car)

any advice???

PS...that engine note is sick bro!
