Halltech and Magnaflow

Ok , I think I finally have what I am looking for . I am going to with the Halltech intake and the Magnaflow Comp Catback . Will this all require a tune or will I be good to go ? Any suggestions ?

no tune required.

but of course everyone says a tune will improve the performance gains from those parts

That is the exact setup I have.

A tune is not required for the setup, however it is always something desirable. I am under warranty so I will not be going with a tune for quite some time.

If warranty is no issue for you, a tune is helpful to adjust for intake flow change that impacts the AFR as well as to remove some of the torque management. If you are going to do a tune, a dyno tune is the most helpful. However for cost effective purposes, I would wait until you have the bulk of your modifications done to avoid having to pay for multiple retunings.

Jordan at JDP is the man. Easy to work with, have it in 3 or 4 days and a fantastic price. Send him a PM or check out his website.

x100

Actually.....you need to call them and let them know you are from Camaro5. Don't go by their web site prices....those are the retail prices and you'll get a better deal by calling them.

Some members were recently getting the #16580 for $650 shipped. That's going to be hard to beat.

There is a little popping on decelerating between 1800 and 1500 RPM. Nothing severe, and it only occurs briefly in those ranges.

And yes, JDP Motorsports is a great vendor that will give you a great price.
