Could you sleep in your Camaro?

I'll be making my purchase SOON. Very excited. I'm day dreaming about my upcoming summer road trip in my new ride. I'll be doing some camping etc but am wondering... with the back seats folded down could a six foot dude sleep comfortably with pad and sleeping bag with feet in the trunk and pillow on the folded down back seats. I know... its a Camaro not a caravan... but I don't care... might need to catch some ZZZZZ's.

What do you know... can it be done?

I was at a big pig roast in the fall, and at the end of the night all of the beds in the house were taken up, so I caught some Z's in the Camaro no problem. Laid the driver's seat all the way back and slept for a solid 6 hours or so.

I've seen people get 6 foot tables out of the back of a Camaro with the seat down. Probably can't stretch out, but may be doable. Let us know!

The seat feels like agiant lazyboy, so if you could sleep in one of those, the camaro will offer you a comfortable bed. As long as you don't need to turn over in the middle of the night.

There's plenty of legroom and headroom and the seats are just super comfy.

Either seat is eeeeaaaasily able to sleep in!! Never tried the rear seats down through the trunk though, might work.

My guess is the only problem is if your camping in an area like here in va beach where the summers hold 90 degree nights with 100% humidity and 85% dew point. Very sticky.

New GF has been keeping me up until about 4-5am, not complaining here. But I get up at 8 so I have had to catch some zzz in the back (day time) I have found that sleeping on my back I can put the back seat down with a small pillow and I put my head in the trunk where it's dark. Good enough for a quick nap if you're desperate. I'm 5'9" and I can lay flay this way not diagonal just straight front to back, my feet hang just of the end of the back seat.

My wife thought it was comfortable enough. On a 2 hour ride she managed to get the passenger seat back and catch an hour of sleep

Pup tent, air matress, sleeping bag, battery powered small fan, cooler with ice, beverages, munchies, in the trunk... done it on a Harley,H1, etc. Camaro would be even easier...

Did the same exact thing out at my buddy's ranch. I'm a hair shy of 6'2" and slept like a baby.

Open trunk and prop your feet up.

Note do not sleep in the driver's seat as it may be habit forming...... you may fall asleep driving then.

I've slept in my 4th gen numerous times and I'm 6'-2". The passenger side is a little tight but it works. The 5th gens have a lot more interior room so it should be no problem at all.... plus the seats are a lot more comfortable... plus heated seats would be nice on a cold night.
