It is illegal to have flashing lights unless your an emergency vehicle, but if your parked in a private parking lot, you are free to have fun, they cant touch you, but even if your on the side roads like a mall cruising or anything unless they are nice, they will stop you because it is considered a "Highway road" but have fun if its parked i do

I wish I would've had these lights when I did my "Vented Fenders"! I would've connected two of these to my Turn signals and the fenders would Flash/Strobe when I would make a turn.....But hey, there's still hope

Auction type.

The one for $24.99 is "Buy it Now" with free shipping.
I just ordered the yellow one; I think it will look cool at the shows.

Hmm. Let me see what I can do. I got family/work obligations until Sunday afternoon but I think I can get the camera out and do a step by step run through. It very straight forward really. Hook wires up to a switch and run power to switch. Everything else is just time consuming based on how anally you want to be with neatness. I shot the video with the intent of breaking it down more but had to edit it for the 10 minute YouTube upload limit. If you pm me I will give you my personal email and we can chat direct.

Has anyone found One that is 20" instead of this one that is 25" and the expensive KITT one that will fit into the mail slot?

Hey guys. I got a ton of PM's about this and I am more than happy to help you all. Today I shot how to remove the front panel by the hood release and how I zip tied the bar to the grill in detail. I will up that tonight and add it on the first page. Sadly though I have to work all day Sat out on Base so my time is limited. On Sunday I will shoot a video about how to drill a hole in your firewall safely. Now keep in mind there is many ways to install and run wires and I cant stress enough the following things....

1. If you don't know much about 12v wiring you shouldn't take it lightly. An unfused wire that grounds out to the firewall can cause the wire to ignite and burn up your car. If your car resides in your garage then you can burn down everything you own in the worst case. So with that being said I will do a wiring video but I accept no responsibility for how you wire your car. I highly recommend that if its your first wiring job you seek the help of a friend or pay a shop to do this. Now that being said over all 12v is one of the safest and most enjoyable voltages to work at. The resistance of your skin provides enough protection that you do not get shocked by touching bare wires. Now your household current is another story. You touch a bare wire and you will be doing the monkey dance. When I ran my wires I chose to run a hot wire from my battery to the switch and back down to the positive wire that came with the light bar. You can choose to tap a positive wire off your cigarette lighter and use that. That method has the benefit of already being fused and you have less worries that way. When you watched the video of my wiring you can see that I used a fuse off the main cable. The fuse was bought at radio shack for a few dollars. If you tap a wire off the main cable like that keep the fuse as close to the connection point as possible. You don't want an unfused wire chaffing out and grounding. This again could cause a fire.

2. You do not have to drill a hole in your car to provide power. There is a way to run in across the engine compartment and pop through a grommet. Being a previous auto mechanic I have above average skills and I am very comfortable making a hole in my car. The car has tons anyway from the factory whats one more. The benefits of this small hole I made is once you properly line it with a grommet you have a permanent safe spot to run anything in the future. I also made this hole because I now can run the least amount of wire to my switch and have less chance of a pinch or chaff since the wire is as short as possible. Many people have mentioned that there are other ways to run wires that don't involve a hole but lets face it. Done safely and correctly this is a very handy hole to have in this location.

Also here is a link to the overhead switches for the people that wanted to know about them. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...rhead+switches

And lastly someone has asked what my next project is. Well I am going to mount a set of train horns underneath the front bumper vertical.

This is probably something that most people might not see the point in but again it is my car and I have more self control than the guys who shot the video. Each to his own. I'll have to pull the bumper off to mount them so I guess that will lead to more videos lol.

Keep in mind they are only for car shows and to attract all the hotties to my car so I can pretend I am still important and liked. lol

Other than that DO NOT use them on the street. The police will ticket/arrest you. And then when you make a post about it we will all laugh at you.
