Borla type S 3"

Has anybody put the 3" system in yet? How is the fit with the larger tubes? Any rattling? I'm looking for more upgrades in the future and 3" is the way to go.

OK I'm officially confused. I'm trying to figure out if PN 140348 is the S-type or ATAK 3" catback. Southern Car Parts says it's the S-type, and Phastek says it's the ATAK system. I tried going on the Borla website to see what it said about the PN, but it didn't say which one it was. Anybody have some insight?

The 140348 is the S type 3 inch system. We have not really talked about designing a 3 inch ATAK just yet.

Awesome thank you. I've seen it labeled incorrectly on quite a few websites. S-type 3" is exactly what I'm looking for. Do you need a new tunnel brace to clear the extra pipe?

I like the sound of the S-Type quite a bit. The people that have this system, how is the drone? I cant stand drone.

I had a feeling they would do that... I too wanted the 3" so I just got the axle backs and will get the 3" mid pipes with headers soon

My car will be here early next week and after the "magical" 1500 miles I'll change fluids and slap on the 3" S-type with posted vids. I'm sure there will be other people to beat me to the punch since it will take me at least month to acrue that amount of mileage.

The Borla S 3 in. cat-back system will be installed on my 2SS on the 23rd. of this month, as part of a "tech session", at HP Performance in Mundelein, IL.

I will have BEFORE and AFTER vid's of it, with HD video and 5.1 sound. It'll be about as close as you can get to analyze the difference.

I'm looking for a throaty sound, but not overly raspy or obnoxious. We will see...stay tuned.

Is the Borla S 3inch a lot louder than the Borla S 2 inch system?
