IRS - What do we know about it?

Does anyone have input into the IRS system?

Coming from an 04 Cobra that had the IRS, I know how much more improved it can make the car ... There were a few problems however:

1.) Wheel Hop
2.) Broken Diff covers (Billetflow made a NICE brace that helped with this!)
3.) Broken Half-Shafts (I had 509rwhp/520rwtq and never had any problems, but I didn't have sticky tires either (but did have 305's out back).

Thanks,
Crowley

I was reading something from one of the powertrain engineers someplace and he said wheel hop has been eliminated completely with some new patented design. Something about different diameter, length shafts on each side

If anyone can find the torque handling capacity of the IRS please post. I will be adding a few things that may overstress it and would like an idea of how much it can handle. Thanks.
