Reaching 600hp without blower?

I'm not an expert on cars by any means but I know my way around them a little bit. I was wondering if it's possible to reach 600 RWHP without the use of a blower on the LS3. The only rules are you have to use the LS3 and you cant put a turbo or supercharger on it. What is the max horsepower you guys think can be achieved at the wheels?

Edit: no nitrous and running premium pump gas

Getting there should not be an issue, getting there cheaply and with a car you would want to drive anywhere would be the challenge.

I pretty much just did most of that except bore... didn't quite get to 500. Don't really have a daily driver anymore either...

100hp is about all you can hope for with heads and cam combo.
Also add a pulley to that list.

It's all a question of $$. Is this just a "can it be done" thread or are you really going to attempt it?

Stroke it out to a 419, throw compression, larger valves/ head work/ high lift cam and tight separation, run E85 and you can do it with out spending 25k.

Good point. I highly doubt you can get there with 93 octane.

We offer a 457 LS3 that will make 750 at the crank on 91 octane pump gas
Yes it can be done without issue. We could do a 429 LS3 and make it as well but it will be more rpm than the 457 and rpm = $.

I could put you there for $16700

We've made 670 to the tires on 91 octane with an LS2 468 and can do the same for you if you want with the LS3.

it's mostly a "can it be done" thread and "what exactly it would take to do it" thread. It seems like a lot of work and would be easier and not much different in price to just throw a supercharger on there.

If we have a ls3 would there be a core in that $16700?

Yes that does include the cost of the core. You would subtract $1450 from the price.

We ship out 600rwhp ls7 packages every week for z06 customers @427ci. A big striker can get you there no problem and for pretty reasonable money. It's best to call and talk to us about your goals and budget. I bet we can help you get there no problem!

Have to agree with TSP 600 rwhp cars n/a are not that difficult and or uncommon.
Its just about the budget. We can build a 408 that will make that at the tires but you have to do it our way. It's all about the combination and the fewer the cubic inches the more important the combination is and the people putting it together. No one beats our n/a numbers, we are one of the very best at extracting big HP from these engines.
