Hurst Shifter Installed

Installed a Hurst Billet 2 Shifter yesterday. hardest part was getting the boot back on. Took alittle over a hour to install but what a difference.

Aren't they great? Takes a little getting used to initially but it makes a world of difference. Grats!

That boot was such a pain! It's totally worth it though.

Nice.

I am still thinking about this mod.

I think the OEM shifter is just fine.

Is it really worth it? I don't really speed shift my car

much, maybe 4 times in 15,000 miles, I am worried about

toasting the clutch or trans.

I don't speed shift my car, the feel of the shifting is so much more positive and I don't hit 5th gear out of 2nd ever any more, that is worth the price alone.

The stock throw on a fifth gen is one of the shortest I have felt, minus a 350z. I usually am not a fan of the stock shifter on most cars, however I think this one is great. I personally would be good with the stocker from a look and feel perspective.
