Any dealers in Cali with open allocations?

I'm currently number 19 on the list at a dealership with an allocation of 10. I'm trying to find something better. Anyone know any dealers with better allocations?

Yeah, I've been doing that. I'm pretty sure I've covered most of the San Diego area without any luck.

We have 15. 11 are spoken for. MSRP no dealer mark up. Pick you up at the airport.

Yep, and I'm sure once the dust settles we will see more dealers accepting the supplier or even employee pricing. But not in the near future.

Local Chevy dealership in the bay area has only sold 2 of their 6, they're charging 5k markup though.

Folsom Chevrolet might have some allocations left and they're MSRP or below.

Wow, I figured this thread was long-dead by now. I appreciate the responses. I've got my order in with a dealer in AZ. Of course, after I settled with a non-refundable deposit at said dealer, I went and got my money back from the first one. They told me that they were just about to call me because everyone ahead of me backed out of their orders. I'm looking forward to that 600mi drive back from Tucson.

600 miles...not too bad of a drive that will allow you to bond with your 'Maro . The thing that sucks about some of the freeways in AZ is that they have cameras!!! Phoenix area that is...

Once you hit the 10(I think?) heading to LA over those mountains, it's a long flat straight road. I was drafting a semi going 90 on my one trip from Tempe to Torrance. Was awesome.

Yea, you're right. Nothing but road, dirt and mountains on the 10. You're only limited in speed by how fast your car/truck can go . Of course if you're driving with your lady, your limited in speed by her nagging

What are you talking about? She is the turbo spool. The more she nags, the faster your turbo is spinning.

or whiteknuckled planted in her seat screaming louder and louder as the engine revs louder and louder, then a quick breath as your shift gears.

I'll be on the 8, but it's pretty much the same way... at least for the last couple hundred miles.

I called Folsom Chevrolet on Friday April 3 2009, and they said they will have a dealer mark up. The only chevrolet dealer in the Sacramento area that I have called that does not have a mark up was John L Sullivan. Some sales guy at Performance Chevy told me that even if you are 1st on their list you still have to bid against the top 5 ppl on their list to get the 1st camaro they are allocated

Great Dealer in California

I ordered mine from McConnell Chevrolet in Healdsburg. The sales manager is Grant Ell. Good guy to deal with, charged MSRP. I gave them a $1000 deposit. I got the run around from other local dealers in Northern California.

McConnell Chevrolet
1395 Healdsburg Ave.
Healdsburg, CA 95448

Good Luck.

Same thing I was told by Folsom... the two guys I talked to did not seem to know much really... other than a web page to go to, that led me to this forum. SO he was helpful in one way. Which then led me to a post I read from Damien at John L Sullivan whom I ordered from... so they basically gave my business to a competing dealer LOL... way to go guys.
