I went to the dealership with an open mind, but this was entirely dissapointing. They can keep selling their Mustangs to fools.

I went to a Ford dealer last weekend and they were on us like white on rice. They bent over backwards to earn my business and they did. Drove home a new 2010 GT500.

Sounds like either you were impatient, worked with a inexperienced salesman, or did not express yourself as a serious customer. As a Camaro and Mustang owner myself, I really doubt your profiling of Mustang "buyers" is very accurate.....

You have to be kidding, like your going to drive up in your V6 camaro and think your going to be able to test drive the latest mustang that they just put on the floor basically. Remember when the camaro came out how hard it was to get a test drive. I think they had you pegged walking in the door.

FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!

... you wouldn't believe how may parts underneath the Mustang are just bare metal. After a couple of New England winters, my '07 GT certainly shows it, underneath. That's one of the things about the Camaro that I like... there was a thread a while ago where a GT500 owner was complaining about the number of unpainted parts under his car and compared a photo of the underside of his car with a shot of the Camaro... I think that GM certainly did a better job in that regard. I understand that Ford was keeping cost down and building to a price point, but I'm not sure that leaving bare metal under the car is such a good idea.

You only waited ten minutes for them to prep a car for test drive that just started being delivered like a week and a half ago? Despite what the fast food generation may think, you can't get all that much done in 10 minutes. For all you know the guy was taking the plastic coverings and sticker off of a brand new '11, gassing it up and prepping it for you to drive. I mean, ten minutes... It takes longer than that for me to take a shit.

ummmm wow your patient. Lets judge the car by the salesman. Your so smart yanno that? Did you think to ask where he went? Maybe there was an emergency? 10 minutes its hardly categorized as a "wait" in a car dealership.

Sorry..not loving the exhaust on either the V6 Mustang or Camaro.

All I hear is "riiiiiiiiiice....RIIIICCEEEEE...riiiiceeee"...ric e rice rice. The revving had so much burble and popping it sounded like a freaking movie theater popcorn stand in there. The pull away under WOT sounded like a far can'd Civic (etc) trying to sound all great and mighty before it pulls a 16 second pass.

the car salesman was probably watching him from another office with his buddies waiting to see how long he'd continue to wait.

I have walked into 6 dealerships, 3 Chevys, a Nissan, Hyundai and Honda before ordering the Camaro in December and twice since, Chevy and Honda again. It hasn't taken them 10 mins to bring a car around.

And which cars were you driving? If you went to a chevy dealership in june and asked to test drive a camaro I can almost garuntee it would have taken 10 minutes or they would have done a credit check before even considering it
