A Novice + Rotary Polisher = Step Inside...

Just in case there is anyone here who has never used a machine to work on paint and is contemplating on using a rotary polisher because it is more powerful than a PC...

A PC-7424XP can't do this to your paint. That's why it is the perfect choice for the novice. Don't allow anyone to sucker you into another machine. You do NOT want to be driving down the road looking like this aberration.

Somebody should have gotten slapped for this.

This is how my brand new Camaro looked when the dealership had it detailed to fix their mess ups in my paint. IDIOTS. It wasn't quite this nasty, but still...

One can blame the tool, but I'd be more inclined to fault the operator's lack of
knowledge and training - to include choice of polishing materials (not just the tool)

We can all drive, but few of us are are NASCAR drivers.

It doesn't matter what you use, you can't create that kind of art with a PC.

I've seen my fair share of these disasters. I had a Nissan GTR come through the other week, same thing. The dealership painted the hood then the body shop did the quick "buff" job when they were done. Yeah well that didnt turn out too well.
