Is there any reason to keep the "dinner plate", "dust cover" thing at the back side of the rotors?

If it doesn't get in the way (shouldn't), just leave it on.

Dumb question, I got my rotors but I don't know which are fronts or rears. One is slightly bigger but the others a bit heavier and thicker. Help please :/

One box is labeled pds.62124
Other is pds.62119
Tried googling

Never mind, I'm new to changing rotors. The rear rotors had the front hawk brakes in the same box and the front rotors with rear pads on another box kinda threw me off. After taking off on side of the car's rotors, I can see which fits where.
