I've been away taking care of some things since I last posted. Looking forward to attending this event! Details such as security watching over a dedicated parking area, and prize giveaways lead me to be very impressed with the professional level of organization that has gone into this event. Much better than some of the other non-Camaro events I have gone to in the past.

Not too much longer until its time for my Canadian road trip!!!

****Convoy Info From The West****

I will be crossing through the Port Huron/Sarnia border. Anybody coming from the west that wants to meet up with me, please let me know!

I have been told that it is much less time consuming to go this way than to go through Windsor.

Please email me at anna@spartachevy.com or PM me. I will be figuring out two places to meet up with people, one just before Port Huron in Michigan and one once we are into Canada, maybe where the 402 meets the 401.

My caravan is heading out of the Sparta/West Michigan area some time between 12:30 and 1:30 pm. This should put us at the Sarnia crossing AROUND 3:45 to 4:45 pm. We will stop to the Blue Water Bridge Duty Free Shop (http://www.bluewaterbridgedutyfree.com/) on the way through and I am thinking we should be at the 401/402 an hour and 45 minutes later (allowing a half hour to shop) around 5:30 or 6:15 pm. This should put us arriving in Oshawa around 8:15 pm to 9:00 pm.

These are all estimates. If anybody looks at this and says 'She's Crazy!', please let me know. I am relying on Mapquest for my time estimates! lol

I figure I'll be leaving right after work. Maybe I can get out at 4:00 maybe not Anyhow, if you see a RJT 2LT camaro with a rubber duck in the back window that's me.

I have had passports since 2005, and I have my interprovince Non-resident Auto Insurance card.

Ditto here. Not sure what time I'll be leaving (very, very early), but I'll catch up to you, Anna, and Eric somewhere. I was able to get my room for the extra night (19th).

OK everyone - time to start your "What to bring" list. Post your suggestions. Leave out your "unmentionables" as we don't want people like Tom or Trent to get all worked up (of course Trent's not here to defend himself). I'm sure in reading other's suggestions some will say "oh yea - I better take that"

I'll Start
- Car
- Cover
- Detailing products (you can tell I'm going in order of importance right)
- Personal snacks/drinks
- Warm weather clothes (long-range forecast calling for 75-80 degrees)
- Sun block (lots of outdoor activites)
- Advil (lots of late night activities)
- Apparel for that wet stuff that sometimes falls from the sky ( just in case...I'm not saying the word)
- Folding chairs
- Passport / EDL (for our US friends)
- Camera
- Sharpies
- ......

I'll let everyone pick-up from here

You're bringing your cover? Not afraid it might walk away in the night?

Nope. As per one of my earlier posts - there will be parking lot security provided for each night of the event (Thursday, Friday & Saturday). At least 1 guard will be present at the designated parking area of the Holiday Inn each night.

Yes, I have started the packing process. I HATE that I am not bringing Bella, so what can I bring off the car to have signed in my suitcase? I don't want to miss out on too much :(

Let's hope the security guard isn't Conan...

No disrespect intended for the fine reputation of the Canadian Mounties...
