BBK LT Headers + FM American Thunder?

anybody have this combo on their camaro? I was thinking about getting it but i want to know if anybody has it and what they think? also maybe a sound clip video or something would be nice. I know someone on here has ARH LTs with FM super 44s and it sounds awesome. Im just wondering what the FM American Thunder would sound like with the LT headers..

Thanks

I'm thinking that would be insanely raspy at high revs

Maybe the Magnaflow. Everybody seems to describe that as more muffled with a lower tone. You need something to tone down the rasp from the LT's.

I don't think you can assume that something that sounds good on the 4.0 cologne will sound good on our 3.6. It is a very different engine. Listen to a stock V6 stang with the 4.0. It doesn't make the high pitch metallic sound that the LLT makes.

i know a couple members on here have ARH LTs with FM super 44s....i like that sound better than the magnaflow IMO. Would it sound almost the same with the BBKs...? im thinking so. i dont like the higher pitch tone muffs...i think the deeper sounding muffs that are nice and low on idle and when you hit the gas you hear a loud but not too loud deeper sound. and no im not trying to get it to sound like a V8 because i know any 6 will never sound like an 8 lol.

anybody what to chime in and help me out!! i keep going through the sound clips on the v6 exhaust thread and cant make up my mind!!

im liking either the Flowmasters 40s/44s or the magnaflows. to go with BBK LTs...

i heard the magnaflows actually restrict some air flow to get the 'muffled' sound...true?

I have Magna Flow Axle back exhaust and have the BBK Long tubes on order.
Will Post some video When I get the LT,s installed. BBK's are on back order and won't be seeing them for about a month.

If you really don't like higher pitched sound, you sure you want long tubes? All the vids I have heard suggest that long tubes are really raspy and high pitched.

Agree... as tempted as I am by the performance gains over my shorties, I'm afraid of the rasp and pitch...

I don't see how this happens as Magnaflow mufflers are a straight-through design. The tube inside the muffler is perforated, but not chambered

what about putting in a Resonator or a magnaflow Tru-x? will help cut down the rasp?
