I was looking around and searching for the fastest Camaro to date. What i was able to find so far was 9.98 @ 144. Is that what is currently the fastest Camaro?

Funny story..Last week lined up against a 70 camaro sporting a chute. I'm mostly stock. I get to the line and look over and hope only to not embarress myself. Well we start to stage and I've got the second stage lights on and ready to go. Ever so slightly feathering the clutch and gas to get a good launch. The light turns green and his car explodes off the line so loud it scared the liven sh** out of me. I pop the clutch and mash down on the gas. He's 1000' away and I'm still spinning my tires and fish tailing. I finally let off the gas and cruise to a 23 sec time To his 9.7 @ 130. Damn lesson learned that day. Cleaned my pants and rolled over laughing..

That car is pretty interesting, it isn't even a BIW the guy bought all the panels and put it together. It has been 8.85@155
