Hi All, newbie's second post. Just thought I share some pics of a Yellow RS Camaro that was displayed at a GM Exhibit during the recent Las Vegas Barrett Jackson Auction. Lighting condition at the Mandallay Bay Convention Center was less than stellar....especially with the dark carpeting. The car is a 6MT so I assume it's the same car as in the Jay Leno clip.

Personally I'v never been a fan of yellow on cars but i have to admit..this car is sexy in yellow.

Still prefer Inferno Orange

but anyway lovely pics!

what did you think of yellow? like it or not?

yellow looks great

. you can add yellow on my list of colors

this is going to be such a hard decision on what color to get

Nice.

I was watching Barrett Jackson this weekend and was suprised how low some of the cars went for and how high others went. I thought for sure that Carroll Shelby's first race car would of gone for much higher. They all probably saw that Ron Pratte was bidding on it and gave-up.

Thank you soooooooooooo much for those pics... I was worried about the Midnight silver finish on the wheels until I saw those. Definately keeping them.

Wow, those lights do suck...
It's a different shade of yellow in every picture!

Anyways, it still looks fantastic! Still don't know which wheels to go with though...

While the yellow did looked good, it is not my color of choice. There is nothing subtle about it....the camaro simply jumped out at me when I entered the building! However, I'm sure many of you will like it especially with black ralley stripes.

I was also pleasantly surprised how good the midnight silver wheels appeared in person. IMO, it sure takes the edge off the shiny polished look.

Agree, I feel like this car has such well designed lines and curves that it doesn't need an electrifying color. Grey/Black/Silver balances it nicely IMO. I understand why people want their yellows and inferno oranges though.

that yellow is disgusting, it's to tweety bird. a darker more bumbleblee yellow would look so much nicer

i agree with game over, its too bright, almost neon yellow...big bird style.

but yea, i dunno if i like those rims, perhaps the "midnight" is visible only in person under the right light...o well, months to wait, many months to purchase so ill be able to see em all.

but the curb rash was the first thing i noticed on the car, nothing before or after, just that...poor guy worked so hard to keep it flawless then we go and meticulously rip it apart for quality
