Supercharger coming soon, 2011

I just read an article that the supercharger was going to happen. Thats got Z-28 written all over it ? How much more than 2SS do you think we're talking ?

Even if this rumor comes from a well known source, I'd still take it with a grain of salt. As it stands now, this thread doesn't stand much chance, as is, to inspire any belief that a supercharged Z28 is actually going to happen.

touchy topic.
and may I speak for everyone when I say no one will ever believe you again if you don't have proof.
I know, harsh. Isn't it?

All I see are rumors

Quote:
Convertible versions (previewed by a 2007 Detroit concept) should be added during the 2010 model run, and a new high-performance Z28 edition is forecast for model-year 2011.
Quote:
So, too, the rumored 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Z28, which reportedly storms in with the supercharged 6.2-liter "LSA" V8 from Cadillac's 2009 CTS-V sports sedan. Horsepower here should be at 480-500. But a new Z28 is not a sure thing with today's gas prices and fuel-economy woes, and production will certainly be restricted for those reasons even if it does reach showrooms.

I think this what 69hugger means
http://blog.leasetrader.com/archive/...EW-Photos.aspx

Quote:
We have been told that a supercharged version of the 6.1L V8 will be released the second year of production in order to increase sales after the initial début

Gas prices are falling because the economy has collapsed into recession and cut demand for gas incredibly. If the economy, I mean when the economy picks up, so will gas prices. I hope I'm proved wrong, but as the market goes up, so do oil futures.

Last word from SS was that the current econemy had put a halt to their plans. I will assume that is still the case until he says otherwise.

The thread won't be closed if we can discuss this calmly and politly.

notice how the convertible is called the 2007 concept. That info is a little off so im guessing the whole article is way before any solid info was released.

we hear here in europe that you Guys are caught in the beginning of a recession and that it is coming our way.

Some of your banks had problems, and loads of our banks have problems, even in Germany.
Your gas prices are coming down, and I hope our's follow !

what does your Gas cost at the moment ?

Happy to hear thou that almost 3,000 orders for the Camaro went in during the first three days. So some of you have still got some money for a new car,
and that's a good sign isn't it ??

CHEAP !!!!

in Belgium we are paying the eqivelant of 7,84 dollars per gallon, and that's a little cheaper than it was in the summer.

Due to our Euro being so strong against your Dollar, a New Harley like mine is now actually cheaper than I paid back in 2007.

I hope that means when/If they release the camaro here that the prices won't be to stupid.
