I use them all the time, mostly when going down a hill to downshift...

In S-mode constantly and tap-shift almost every trip... still wish these were +/- paddle-shifters like on my 2004 Grand Prix GTP...

The rental (Camaro) I had last October was an auto, I played with the tap shifting for a bit but that delay from when you hit the paddle to when the car actually shifts annoyed me.

I don't tend to use it in town very much, but when I get out on the road, especially in the corners I like to use it.

I mainly use them driving in the mountians, either downshifting for engine braking on steep hills, or downshifting to keep the transmission from hunting (constantly shifting from 6th down to 4th and back up again) going uphills on cruise control.

I use it sometimes. Some people have been complaining about lag, but the lag is about the same all the time, so you can usually predict the shift.

Not so much around town.

I agree...its really fun...and you really get to hear that exhaust note a bit better since you are in control of the shifts.....

I didnt use it when I first got the car...but once I did I was hooked.

I use it most of the time, it's really fun on a great road. I usually don't use it to and from work.

The only time I do not use it is in heavy traffic. The rest of the time I love using tap shifting. Dropping it into 3rd and passing on the highway is blast. Really looking forward to using it once I get my exhaust (either MRT V2 or Flowmaster AT).
