these're 300 while the Invos are 260... not a huge difference, but i've also had a few personal recommendations for the Invos, so there's another +. and like i said - the car takes care of my boost addiction.

So I wet sanded my hood spears.
![]() The guy who painted them laid me some extra clear to be able to get the orange peel and high/low spots out with. Still have to do the whole front fascia. But I need a smaller Adams pad to be able to polish it even better. |

Looks pretty good from here
If anyone critiques the pin-holes, ask to see their work, that should shut them up

LOL you don't HAVE to wet sand color any more. bake\let it dry then sand it smooth.the clear has OP in it because he put it on pretty thick. Mostly to give us some extra clear to wet sand and polish with and to help protect it on the ride home. He did bake both the hood and the front fascia. so they should be good to go.

The base coat when mine was done almost looked like primer. Couldn't see the metallic in it either, until the clear was on.
![]() Like this basecoat Clear added

The IOM was similar. The little flake specs were not visible till I polished it.

I gotchya. but the color in this case was sanded baby butt smooth before we applied the clear. I'm not saying you shouldn't sand the color before the clear. but the we know the OP is in the clear as he sprayed it a little thicker than normal and the color was smooth/dry before the clear went on.
